A few favorites

Hi! I hope you had a lovely weekend. I went to the library, rode a miniature train with my nephew, had a Cuban feast with dulce de leche cake at a belated birthday dinner, and went for a solitary, tranquil walk in the rain. It was a relaxing couple of days, before a busy week at work. Here are a few links from around the web, if you’d like to explore:

If you love wedding cake, this recipe with this buttercream frosting is delicious!

I want to live in this cardigan for the next six months.

I picked up Domino's Decorating book at the library, and it is a fantastic resource for ideas and inspiration.

For all the other Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman fans out there!

Yummy slow-cooker brisket French dip sandwiches--prep on Sunday evening for a comforting Monday dinner.

woodsy or spicy colongne would be perfect for cooler fall weather.

Yummy homemade cheese and fig savouries, perfect for serving with sparkling wine during the holiday season!
